Are there any nice parts of London?

There are lots of beautiful places to live in London. If you don't like city life then obviously the outskirts are for you but otherwise you can find areas that are very village like in feel. Highgate and Hampstead are lovely with lots of grassy areas nearby. I like the East End near London Fields too as it's a little edgier. If money is no object then Chelsea, Belgravia and Mayfair are other places which are beautiful but lacking in character in my opinion.
