Cute clothes for NYC?

i'm going to New York City this August, and i wanna get really cute clothes. i'm 13, but don't u dare give me clothes from children's place or whatever, i can shop in any place. So i'm looking for casual dresses, or skirts that go above the knee, any thing that looks awesome. So, if you have any ideas, please post a link :) but i live in canada so there will be some stores that aren't located here. THANK YOU SO MUCH
